SUMMARY:Inspire 2018
DESCRIPTION:Our training day for everyone working with children\, youth\, and families is back!\n“INSPIRE” does exactly what it says on the tin! \nOur aim for this event is to INSPIRE you so that you’ll return from it\, back to your own areas of ministry\, in your own setting\, inspired to carry on\, motivated to take things further forward. \nAt INSPIRE you will meet with some like minded people and rub shoulders with others who can encourage you and to whom you can be an encouragement also. \nWe will worship together\, eat together and network together across the day\, as well as choose some seminars to attend about a variety of different things.\n\nThe input from our speakers will be both top class and heartfelt.\n\nThis could be the best £10 you spend this side of Christmas\, but do hurry and sign up online so that you don’t miss out on all of this inspiration for you and the ministry that you serve amongst. \nBOB Morris\n\n\nSaturday 10th November 2018: 10am – 4.15pm\nCost this year will be £10\, to include lunch. \nFor more information and to book your place\, please click here.

SUMMARY:Mission as a Dialogue: Reaching your Community
DESCRIPTION:Cinderford – 6th October  \nOur world has radically changed; we live in a time where there is a multiplicity of choices\, a time when the moral codes and ethics are less than clear. It is a time of hurry and rush; a time when we seemingly know our neighbours less well\, and yet conversely\, we are more globally aware than ever before as media outlets flood us with news about what is happening on the other side of the world. \nAt this one day event In 2018\, we will unpack this topic\, and explore together how a deep listening to our rural communities will help us share the Gospel. \nThe day will be interactive with four main workshops: \n\nWorkshop 1: Where is everybody? – Understanding the local context; how to ask the right questions. Demographic research; how to read local statistics. Finding the ‘gathering point’ of the community.\nWorkshop 2: Where is God? – What are the signs of ‘good news’? Who else is here?  Undertaking a walk of awareness – practical task & reflection.\nWorkshop 3: Where are we? – What are we already good at? Where has your church got community touch points? Practical mission audit – Review\, when\, how and why of your church mission.\nWorkshop 4: Where next? – Joining all the dots; beginning to form a strategy. We all have a part to play. Now\, take a risk.\n\nThe event costs just £15 including handouts and a light lunch. \nBookings must be made in advance and we are able to accept card or cheque payments. \nFull details of the event and booking information can be found on our website here on the Facebook event page.
