Welcoming Without Affirming

A day to inform leaders and members of churches, and to reflect on same sex attraction and how we can best support and reach those who are same sex attracted.
The day will be led by Ed Shaw associate pastor of Emmanuel Bristol and part of the editorial team at livingout.org He’s the author of The Plausibility Problem: the church and same sex attraction. Ed is a celibate, same sex attraction Christian.
During the day we will be looking at:
- Reflecting on culture
- Biblical understanding of same sex attraction
- Biblical, pastoral response to same sex attraction
This event will take place at Clevedon Baptist Church on October 25th.
Places (which include a sandwich lunch) cost £20 per person.
