Network Day: I am the Lord who heals you

Network days are provided by a church, cluster, or network within WEBA on a theme they are especially passionate about, and want to share with the wider WEBA network.

Our second Network Day for 2016 focusses on healing.

Sam King, minister of Calne Baptist Church, explains:

“At Calne Baptist Church we have been longing to explore in more depth the issue of ‘healing’ in the life of the church. Many of us were inspired on a weekend at Lee Abbey 2009 by the then Director of Resource, Martin Cavender. So as we looked around for help we discovered that Resource were running a programme which has had very good feedback. It is a delight for us to be able to welcome them to share with us over the weekend. If you have a desire to explore the topic of healing in more depth you are welcome to join us.”

This day of worship, teaching, and prayer will be led by Kevin and Anne Roberts of ReSource, an Anglican charity which works for the renewal of people and churches for mission in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Kevin is Archdeacon of Carlisle and Anne Chaplain of the Cumberland Infirmary. However, Kevin has recently been appointed as Director of Resource and Anne as Palace Pastor for the Bishop of Bath and Wells and the Palace Trust.

The organisers are suggesting a donation of £10 per person towards the cost of the day, which will include lunch.

Refreshments will be served from 9:30am, with the first session at 10am.
