Counterslip Baptist are currently looking to fill three new part time roles, listed below.
Each role will be paid at £10.90 per hour and track the real living wage.

Adult Pastoral Assistant:
This is an 8 hours per week role (the equivalent of 1 day per week).
This person will support the Pastor of Counterslip by taking on the responsibility of being the main person on the ministry team for visiting adults in the church to support them in their discipleship and walk with Christ, being available to encourage them with scripture and prayer but also through friendly pastoral conversation.
The hours for this role do not include Sunday morning/evening gatherings for worship. This role does not include responsibilities such as preaching or leading worship.
Youth Pastoral Assistant:
This is an 8 hours per week role (the equivalent of 1 day per week).
This person will support the Pastor, and the vision, of Counterslip by taking on the responsibility of overseeing the team and programme for discipleship of young people (11-18).
This role will involve the weekly planning for youth sessions, running youth sessions (Sundays and a monthly youth home group), leading the youth team (including rota’s and team meetings etc), and occasional mentoring of young people.
Children’s Pastoral Assistant:
This is an 8 hours per week role (the equivalent of 1 day per week).
This person will support the Pastor, and the vision, of Counterslip by taking on the responsibility for overseeing the team and programme for the discipleship of children (3-11).
This role will involve the weekly planning for Children’s Church, running sessions, leading the children’s church team (including rota’s and team meetings etc), and offering occasional support to families around the discipleship of children.
